Founder
Ar. Mamta Vasant Chavan
Ar. Mamta V. Chavan is the founder of The Perspective – When Form Meets Function, a design studio shaped by her belief that good design is rooted in culture, identity, and human connection.
With a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Mumbai University and a Master's in Project Management from Arden University, Berlin, her perspective is influenced by her experiences across India and Germany.
Passionate about art, storytelling, and India's rich architectural heritage, Mamta explores the balance between tradition and contemporary design, creating spaces that are thoughtful, functional, and meaningful.
For her, design is about more than creating beautiful spaces it is about creating experiences, preserving stories, and giving every project its own perspective.

Get to Know Us
The Perspective started with a simple thought I wanted to create spaces that feel meaningful, not just spaces that look good.
My journey in architecture and interior design has taken me through two very different worlds India and Germany. Living and experiencing design in both countries gave me a different way of looking at spaces. From the warmth, colours, textures, and emotions that make Indian spaces so personal, to the simplicity, functionality, and thoughtful details I experienced in Germany, I found myself drawn to bringing these two perspectives together.
With my experience in architecture and interior design, I wanted to create something of my own a design practice where creativity meets functionality, and where every space is designed with purpose and individuality.
That is how The Perspective came to life.
Whether it is a small space or a large project, I believe every project has its own story. For me, design is about understanding the people, the purpose, and the little details that make a space truly feel right.
I started The Perspective with a passion for creating spaces that are thoughtful, functional, and personal spaces that are designed to be experienced, lived in, and remembered.
